►►►In which University and program did you enroll? Why did you select this program?
►I am studying MBA in Bristol Business School at the University of West of England, Bristol. I have always wanted to run my own business and was aware of my limited knowledge and experience in the commercial world. So, I decided to join the MBA program to prepare myself, to equip with a better grounding in business.
►►►How did you prepare for the scholarship interview to get 50% Scholarship?
►I was lucky that there was an option for me to choose between essay and media proposal for the scholarship. Since I previously worked in Public Relations for a few years, I was confident to go for the media proposal. I did research about UWE Bristol position in Myanmar and popularity with media and students. From my findings, I prepared a thorough proposal with facts and figures and relevant recommendations – how improvements can be made to better enhance the visibility of the university among Myanmar aspiring students.
►►►What do you like about your program and why?
►I like the fact that lecturers not only have teaching experiences but also years of working experiences as consultants in the real world in their related fields. So, combined, they can fully contribute to lectures through theories and their own experiences. You can visit lecturers and module leaders for further discussion outside of the class as well. if you have any concern and do not feel comfortable speaking during the class. Also, lectures are practical, and you get many opportunities to apply your knowledge from what you have learned and got you involved in decision making in a business setting, which allows you to see how these can be exercised and changes can be expected in the real business world.
►►►Does the (quality of the) program meet your expectations? Why or why not?
►It is totally up to my expectations. I enjoy learning things that I have always been curious to understand more from people who have actually been pursuing careers in those areas outside of university for many years already. My favorite is professional and academic development program which is called a spine module. It is designed to enhance students’ employability and career development through the integration of theories and practice and critical self-reflection as a leader throughout the course.
►►►What is your overall impression of your classroom environment?
►The class environment is important for a student’s journey because it should motivate him or her to concentrate better and study harder. Classrooms at UWE are big and the facilities are modernized. The new Business School building is the state of the art. Moreover, in our MBA class, there are 12 students in total who come from different business backgrounds. So, teachers are able to pay attention to each of the students and deliver lectures tailored to the needs of the students.
►►►What advice would you offer to current and future students? What would you tell them to expect as a student at your university?
►I would recommend UWE to whoever wants to come and study in the UK. It has a great link with big companies to ensure your employability upon completion of your program if you just give your 100% to studies. So, if you have decided on what you want to study and are clear about where you want to go, I would say “Just go for UWE”. Do not think too much. It is worth it.
►►►How would you like to describe and suggest about our SR services to you?
►SR Education was and is still helpful to me. I did not have to worry about filling out university application forms or preparing for a visa application which made my life a bit easier. They are always there for me, especially Ma Wai Wai Lwin Htwae. She is only a call away or a text message way if you need anything. You can count on 100%.
► ကြည်ဖြူက Master of Business Administration ကို England နိုင်ငံ Bristolမြို့မှာရှိတဲ့ University of the West of England မှာတက်နေတာပါ။ အရင်ထဲက ကိုယ်ပိုင် စီးပွားရေးတစ်ခုကို လုပ်ချင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့လည်း စီးပွားရေးနဲ့ ပါတ်သက်တဲ့ ဗဟုသုတတွေ၊ commercialနဲ့ ပတ်သတ်တဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာတွေ၊ အတွေ့အကြုံတွေလည်းမရှိသေးတာကြောင့် MBA programကို အရင်တက်ပြီး စီးပွားရေးနဲ့ ပါတ်သတ်သမျှအကြောင်းအရာတွေကို သင်ကြားပြီး လက်တွေ့မှာလည်း ပြန်အသုံးချ နိုင်အောင်ကြိုးစားနေပါတယ်။
► Scholarship လျှောက်ဖို့အတွက် essay သို့မဟုတ် media proposal ဆိုပြီး ၂ခုထဲကတစ်ခု ရွေးလို့ရခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အရင်တုန်းက Public Relationနဲ့ ပါတ်သတ်ပြီး အလုပ်လုပ်ခဲ့ဖူးတာကြောင့် ကြည်ဖြူ့အတွက် ကံကောင်းသွားပါတယ်။ အဲ့တာကြောင့်မို့ media proposalကို ရွေးဖို့အတွက် ယုံကြည်မှုလည်း ပိုရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာကျောင်းသူ၊ ကျောင်းသားတွေကြားမှာ UWE Bristol ရဲ့အကြောင်း၊ media နဲ့ပတ်သတ်ပြီး popularity အကြောင်းကို research လုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီ researchလုပ်ခဲ့တဲ့အချက်တွေထဲကမှ Scholarship proposalအတွက် သုံးလို့ရတဲ့ အချက်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်တဲ့ “မြန်မာနိင်ငံရဲ့အလားအလာရှိကျောင်းသား၊ကျောင်းသူတွေအတွက် တက္ကသိုလ်တွေကို ဘယ်လို တိုးမြှင့်အောင်လုပ်မလည်း ဆိုတာနဲ့ ပါတ်သက်ပြီး အကြံ ပေးထားတဲ့ proposal ကို ပြင်ဆင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။”
► UWE မှာသင်တဲ့ ဆရာတွေက စာသင်တဲ့ အတွေ့ အကြုံတွေသာမက တစ်ကယ့်လုပ်ငန်းခွင်တွေမှာလည်း consultant တွေလုပ်နေကြတဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံရင့် တဲ့ ဆရာတွေပါပဲ။ အဲ့ဒါကြောင့်လည်း ကျောင်းသားတွေကို သင်တဲ့အခါ Theoriesတွေကို သူတို့ရဲ့အတွေ့အကြုံတွေနဲ့ပေါင်းပြီး ရှင်းပြပေးလို့ နားလည်လွယ်ပါတယ်။ တကယ်လို့ ကိုယ်က အတန်းထဲမှာ ကြောက်လို့ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် မမေးရဲဘူးဆိုရင်တောင် အတန်းချိန်ပြီးရင်လည်း ဆရာတွေဆီ သွားမေးလို့ရတယ်။ ဆရာတွေကလည်း ကျောင်းသားတွေကို သင်ထားတဲ့ theory တွေကို ဘယ်လိုအသုံးချရမလဲ၊ စီးပွားရေးတစ်ခု လုပ်ရင် စဉ်စားရမယ့် အချက်တွေကို တကယ့်လုပ်ငန်းခွင်မှာ ဘယ်လိုအသုံးချရမလဲဆိုတာကို မြင်သာအောင် ရှင်းပြပေးပါတယ်။
► ဒီ MBA program ကကြည်ဖြူမျှော်မှန်းထားတဲ့ အတိုင်းပဲ ကျေနပ်ပါတယ်။ ကိုယ်အမြဲသင်ချင်နေတဲ့ ဘာသာရပ်တွေကို တကယ့်အတွေ့အကြုံရင့်ဆရာတွေဆီက သင်ရလို့တကယ်ပျော်ပါတယ်။ ကြည်ဖြူရဲ့ အကြိုက်ဆုံးကို ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် Professional and academic development programပါပဲ။ ဒီProgramက theories တွေ၊ တစ်ကယ်လက်တွေ့ အကြောင်းအရာတေ၊ွ leaderတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ရှိသင့်၊ရှိရမယ့် အရည်အချင်းတွေကိုသင်ပေးပြီး ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် career development တွေကို သင်ပေးတဲ့ program ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
► ကျောင်းသားတွေ စိတ်ပျော်ပြီး အမြဲတက်ကြွနေအောင်၊ စာလုပ်ချင်စိတ်ဖြစ်အောင် ကျောင်းပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကလည်း အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ UWEရဲ့ class roomတွေက အဆင့်မြင့်တယ်။ အသစ်ဆောက်ထားတဲ့ Business school buildingဟာဆိုရင်လည်း ကျောင်းရဲ့ ပြရုပ်တစ်ခုပါပဲ။ ဒါ့အပြင် ကြည်ဖြူအခုတက်နေတဲ့ MBA classထဲမှာဆိုရင် ကျောင်းသား ၁၂ယောက်ပဲ ရှိတာကြောင့် ဆရာတွေက ပိုပြီး ကျောင်းသားတစ်ယောက်ချင်းကို အာရုံစိုက်သင်ပေးနိင်ပါတယ်။
► UKမှာကျောင်းတက်ချင်တဲ့ ဘယ်ကျောင်းသားမဆို ညီမကတော့ UWE ကိုပဲ recommend ပေးချင်ပါတယ်။ စာကို100% အာရုံစိုက်ပြီးသင်ယူပါ။ အဲလိုသင်ယူနိုင်မယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ တကယ့် companyကြီးတွေမှာ လုပ်ကိုင်နိုင်မယ့် အခွင့်အရေးတွေ သေချာပေါက် ရရှိလာမှာပါ။ ကိုယ်ကဘယ် ဘာသာသင်ချင်လဲဆိုတာ သေချာသိရင်တော့ အများကြီး စဉ်းစားမနေနဲ့ UWEကိုသာရွေးလိုက်ပါ၊ တကယ်လည်းတန်ပါတယ်လို့ ကြည်ဖြူကတော့ ပြောချင်ပါတယ်။
