► Firstly, I would like to say that studying in the University of Sheffield is the best experience that ever happened to me so far. The reputation of the university, being an active member of the Russell Group and the Triple-Crown Accreditation made it become one of the best universities in UK. The university gives you the opportunities to expose yourself with international students. It has the best student union that could help the students in many ways and there are many events hold by the student union through out the year to give the best experiences of student life.

► Secondly, compare to other major cities like Manchester and London, the house rental fees in Sheffield are relatively cheaper while you can get the bigger and better rooms or facilities that you would get in those major cities. Besides, it’s one the safest city in UK and transportation is very convenient for students who want to travel around UK during their holidays. Libraries, city center, parks, restaurants, student accommodations and university campus are in the walking distance as well. For student who loves shopping, Sheffield has the shopping destination called Meadowhall and it’s on the list of the 10 biggest shopping centers.
► Thirdly, the student support is very helpful for fresher who has the problem with settling in new environment, for instance if a student feels lonely or depressed, they can talk to student support like a friend. Lecturers and tutors are also very helpful, they would try their best to assist you not only in lecture rooms or classes but also by online platform such as email.
► Lastly, I chose to study in the university of Sheffield because it’s one the best universities in UK, it provides large number of opportunities that are available for international students, it conducts world-class researches, and most importantly, there are many courses that are available to be chosen for your needs or requirements.

► ပထမဦးဆုံးအနေနဲ့ ကျွန်တော်မျှဝေပေးချင်တာက the University of Sheffield မှာ လေ့လာသင်ယူခွင့်ရတာဟာဆိုရင် ကျွန်တော့်ဘဝမှာ အကောင်းဆုံးသော အတွေ့အကြုံပါပဲ။ ဒီတက္ကသိုလ်ရဲ့ ဂုဏ်သတင်းကျော်ဇော်မှုဟာ UK မှာ အကောင်းဆုံးသောတက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်စေပြီးတော့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို နိုင်ငံတကာမှကျောင်းသားတွေနဲ့လည်း အမြဲလိုလို ထိတွေ့နိုင်ဖို့ အခွင့်အလမ်းတွေလည်း ဖန်တီးပေးပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော် အကြိုက်ဆုံးကတော့ the University of Sheffield ရဲ့ ကျောင်းသား သမဂ္ဂပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သမဂ္ဂကနေပြီးတော့ ကျောင်းသားတွေကို အမြဲတမ်းကူညီပေးပြီးတော့ ကျောင်းသားအချင်းချင်းထိတွေ့ ဆက်ဆံနိုင်မယ့် activity တွေအများအပြားလုပ်ဆောင်ပေးတဲ့အတွက် ကျောင်းသားဘဝကို အပြည့်အဝခံစားခွင့်ရစေပါတယ်။
► တခြားသော မြို့ကြီးပြကြီးတွေဖြစ်တဲ့ လန်ဒန်မြို့ မန်ချက်စတာမြို့တို့နဲ့မတူဘဲ Sheffield မြို့လေးဟာ အိမ်ငှားစရိတ်က အများကြီးပိုသက်သာပြီး ပိုပြီး ကြီးမားတဲ့ ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ facility တွေကိုပါ ရရှိနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် Sheffield မြို့လေးဟာ UK မှာ အလုံခြုံဆုံးမြို့ဖြစ်ပြီး သွားလာဆက်ဆံရေးမှာလည်း အလွန်အဆင်ပြေပြီးတော့ အားလပ်ရပ်မှာ ခရီးသွားရတာကိုကြိုက်တဲ့ကျောင်းသားတွေအနေနဲ့ UK အနှံ့ လည်ပါတ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်ရတာကို ကြိုက်တဲ့ ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက်လည်း အင်္ဂလန်နိုင်ငံရဲ့ အကြီးဆုံး ရှော့ပင်း စင်တာ ၁၀ ခုထဲက တစ်ခုအပါအဝင်ဖြစ်တဲ့ Meadowhall မှာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်နိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
► တတိယအနေနဲ့ နိုင်ငံတကာမှ လာတက်တဲ့ကျောင်းသားသစ်တွေ အထီးကျန်မှု့၊ စိတ်ဓာတ်ကျမှု့တွေမဖြစ်အောင် ကျောင်းကနေကူညီပေးပြီးတော့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အသစ် လူအသစ်တွေကြားမှာ အဆင်ပြေပြေ ပျော်ပျော်ရွှင်ရွှင်နေနိုင်အောင်လည်း ကူညီပေးပါတယ်။ စာသင်ခန်းတွေမှာဆိုရင်လည်း ဆရာ ဆရာမများဟာ သင်ခန်းစာတွေနဲ့ပါတ်သက်ပြီး စာသင်ခန်းအတွင်းမှာသာမကဘဲ online,email တွေကနေပြီးတော့လည်း ကျောင်းသားတွေလိုအပ်တဲ့အကြံညဏ်၊ မသိနားမလည်တာတွေကို အမြဲတမ်းရှင်းပြ ပြောပြပေးပါတယ်။
► နောက်ဆုံးအနေနဲ့ ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် the University of Sheffield မှာဆိုရင် ကိုယ်နဲ့ သင့်တော်ကိုက်ညီမယ့် ဘာသာရပ်တွေအများအပြားရှိပြီး ကမ္ဘာ့အဆင့်အတန်းမှီ သုတေသနလုပ်ငန်းတွေလည်း ရှိပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် နိုင်ငံတကာမှ ကျောင်းသားတွေ ရရှိနိုင်တဲ့ အခွင့်အလမ်းတွေ အမြောက်အများရှိပါတယ်။ ဒါ့ကြောင့်ပဲ အင်္ဂလန်နိုင်ငံရဲ့ နိုင်ငံတကာကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် ထိပ်တန်းတက္ကသိုလ်ဖြစ်တဲ့ the University of Sheffield မှာ ကျောင်းတက်ဖို့ ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
