►► I enrolled at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and I majored in mechanical engineering because I enjoy studying the concept of mechanics. Mechanical Engineering consists of mainly math and physics, and I believe I’m strong in both subjects. Doing what you love is happiness.

►► Classrooms here varies in size. I prefer small classes (10-20 students) to large classes. All classrooms are clean and bright, my classmates help me with studies and professors have enough facilities to lecture students. The classrooms seem to be the same as what I expected, so I can focus more on my work.

►► For the current students who are going to attend UIC, I would like to encourage them to work hard as a practice for college life because in here, tons of home works are given from the first week and they’re not easy. Make researches about school as much as you can to avoid being befuddled.
For the future students, I would like to encourage them to have a practice of being independent apart from financial cases because college life is different from high school life; you will have to manage not only lessons but also households. A fun fact of UIC is that it’s campus is big yet very close to downtown! So you can study peacefully and travel around downtown to relieve stress.

►► SR is a great agent on which you can depend. They shared the knowledge of American universities and education system with me. They also helped me with all applications and visa interview requirements. They do not force me to choose a particular university and instead offer me many options to choose. Additionally, I have much time to think which university is right for me because of their patience. Therefore, I recommend you to choose SR when considering which university to go.

အားလုံးပဲ မင်္ဂလာပါ ၊ ကျွန်တော့နာမည်က ကောင်းခန့်သော် ပါ…

►► ကျွန်တော်က Mechanics concept တွေကိုလေ့လာရတာ စိတ်ဝင်စားတဲ့အတွက် University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) မှာ mechanical engineering ဘာသာရပ်ကို တက်ရောက်ဖို့ ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ Mechanical Engineering မှာဆိုရင် အဓိကအားဖြင့် Math နဲ့ Physics ဘာသာရပ်တွေပါဝင်တာဖြစ်ပြီး ကျွန်တော်ကိုယ်တိုင်ကလည်း ဒီဘာသာရပ်တွေမှာ အားသန်တာဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝင်စားတာကို သင်ယူနေရတော့ ပျော်ဖို့ကောင်းပါတယ်။

►► တက်ရောက်သင်ကြားနေတဲ့ဘာသာရပ်နဲ့ ကျွန်တော်စိတ်ဝင်စားတာက ဘာလို့ ထပ်တူညီခဲ့တာလဲဆိုရင် ကျောင်းမှာက Mechanics ဘက်ကို အသေးစိတ်မသွားခင် General Education ကို အရင်သင်ကြားခွင့်ရတဲ့အတွက် ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ Mechanical Engineering ဘာသာရပ်ကို ကိုယ်တကယ် စိတ်ဝင်စားတာ ဟုတ်မဟုတ် သိရှိခွင့်ရခဲ့တယ်။ နောက်ပြီး ဒီဘာသာရပ်ကို မကြိုက်ရင် ဘာသာရပ်ပြောင်းနိုင်တယ်၊ Minor Major အနေနဲ့လဲ ပြောင်းရွေးနိုင်သလို Double Major လည်း ရယူနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ပြောမယ်ဆိုရင် General Education ဟာ ကျွန်တော်တို့လို့ International undergraduate ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် အရင်ဆုံးစတင်သင်ယူသင့်တဲ့အရာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

►► ဒီမှာရှိတဲ့ စာသင်ခန်းတွေကလည်း Size အမျိုးမျိုးရှိတာဖြစ်ပြီး ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ လူအများကြီးနဲ့သင်ရတာထက် ကျောင်းသား 10 ယောက်ကနေ 20 လောက်ပဲရှိတဲ့ small class တွေကိုပိုကြိုက်တယ်။ စာသင်ခန်းတွေကလည်း သန့်ရှင်းသပ်ရပ်ပြီး Professor တွေ အနေနဲ့လည်း သင်ကြားရေးအတွက် Facilities တွေအပြည့်အစုံရှိသလို အတန်းထဲကသူငယ်ချင်းတွေကလည်း ကိုယ်မသိတာရှိရင် ဝိုင်းပြီး ကူညီရှင်းပြပေးတဲ့အတွက် ကျွန်တော်မျော်လင့်ထားသလို ထပ်တူကျပြီး စာလုပ်တဲ့အခါပိုအာရုံစိုက်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

►► UIC မှာလာတက်ဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်နေပြီဖြစ်တဲ့ ကျောင်းသားတွေကို ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ တိုက်တွန်းအားပေးချင်တာကတော့ ဒီမှာက ကျောင်းစတက်ထဲက စာလုပ်ရတာ နည်းနည်းများတော့ အလေ့အကျင့်ဖြစ်အောင် ကြိုပြီးတော့ ပြင်ဆင်လေ့ကျင့် ထားစေချင်ပါတယ်။ နောက်ပြီးကိုယ့်အနေနဲ့ အများကြီးခေါင်းမစားရအောင် တက်နိုင်သလောက် ကျောင်းအကြောင်းကို ကြိုပြီး Research လုပ်ထားစေချင်ပါတယ်။

►► နောက်ထပ် ဒီ UIC မှာ တက်ရောက်ဖို့ စိတ်ဝင်စားနေတဲ့ လူငယ်တွေအတွက် ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ တိုက်တွန်းချင်တာကတော့ ငွေရေးကြေးရေး ကိစ္စတွေနဲ့ ပါတ်သက်ပြီးတော့ ကိုယ်တိုင် ကိုင်တွယ်နိုင်အောင် လေ့ကျင့်ထားစေချင်ပါတယ်။ ဒီမှာက High School တက်ခဲ့ရတဲ့အချိန်တွေနဲ့ မတူတော့ပဲ ကျောင်းစာတွေလည်း လေ့လာရတဲ့အပြင် ကိုယ့်တစ်ကိုယ်ရည် တာဝန်တွေကိုပါ ထမ်းဆောင်ရပါတယ်။ UIC မှာ တက်နေရင်း ပျော်ဖို့ကောင်းတဲ့အချက်ကတော့ သူ့ရဲ့ကျောင်း Campus က အရမ်းကြီးပြီး Chicago မြို့ထဲ နဲ့ အရမ်းနီးပါတယ်၊ အဲ့တော့ ကျောင်းမှာ စာသင်ပြီးလို့ အားလပ်တဲ့အချိန်တွေဆို စိတ်ပြေလက်ပျောက်အနေနဲ့ မြို့ထဲကို သွားရောက်လည်ပါတ်လို့ရပါတယ်……

►►SR ကတော့ သင့်အနေနဲ့ အပြည့်အဝမှီခိုအားထားနိုင်တဲ့ အကောင်းဆုံးသော Agency တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ SR က Senior Educational Consultant တွေက American Universities တွေနဲ့ ပါတ်သက်တဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံကောင်းတွေ၊ ပြီးတော့ သူတို့ရဲ့ Education System တွေကို သေသေချာချာရှင်းပြပေးပါတယ်၊ ပြီးတော့ ကျွန်တော့်ရဲ့ Application တင်တဲ့ကိစ္စတွေသာမက Visa Interview အတွက် လိုအပ်တာတွေကအစ အသေးစိတ်ကို ကူညီပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ကျောင်းရွေးချယ်တဲ့ အပိုင်းမှာလည်း ဒီကျောင်းရွေးပါလားဆိုပြီး ပြောပေးတာမျိုးမဟုတ်ပဲ ရွေးချယ်စရာအများကြီးကို ချပြပြီး ကျွန်တော်နဲ့ ကိုက်ညီမယ့် ကျောင်းကို ရွေးချယ်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် ပညာရေးအတိုင်ပင်ခံအစ်မတွေက စိတ်ရှည်ရှည်နဲ့ ကူညီပေးတဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် ကျွန်တော့အနေနဲ့ ဘယ်ကျောင်းကို တက်ရမလဲဆိုပြီး သေချာအချိန်ယူ ရွေးချယ်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် နိုင်ငံတကာ တက္ကသိုလ်တွေမှာ ကျောင်းသွားတက်ဖို့ရွေးချယ်တော့မယ်ဆိုရင် SR မှာ အသေးစိတ်တိုင်ပင်ဆွေးနွေးပြီး သွားရောက်ပညာသင်ယူဖို့ ကျွန်တော့အနေနဲ့ အကြံပြုထောက်ခံချင်ပါတယ် …..
